{"id":377,"date":"2016-08-27T20:32:21","date_gmt":"2016-08-28T03:32:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hhhh.org\/perseant\/foodlog\/?p=377"},"modified":"2016-09-15T19:59:24","modified_gmt":"2016-09-16T02:59:24","slug":"honey-balsamic-sheet-pan-chicken","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hhhh.org\/perseant\/foodlog\/?p=377","title":{"rendered":"HONEY BALSAMIC SHEET PAN CHICKEN"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>HONEY BALSAMIC SHEET PAN CHICKEN (found on fb, Candy shared it have not tried yet)<\/p>\n<p>*** tried today &#8212; everything is really good!<br \/>\nServes 4 to 6<br \/>\nPrep Time: 10 minutes<br \/>\nTotal Time: 1 hour 10 minutes<\/p>\n<p>INGREDIENTS<br \/>\n\u00bc cup balsamic vinegar<br \/>\n6 tablespoons honey<br \/>\n2 to 3 tablespoons olive oil, divided<br \/>\n2 cloves garlic, minced<br \/>\n1 teaspoon dried thyme<br \/>\n\u00be teaspoon dried rosemary<br \/>\n\u00bd teaspoon red chili flakes<br \/>\n\u00be teaspoon kosher salt<br \/>\n\u00bc teaspoon black pepper<br \/>\n2 pounds chicken breasts (4 each), trimmed<br \/>\n1\u00ad\u00bd pounds baby red potatoes, quartered<br \/>\n1 pint cherry tomatoes<br \/>\n1 pound green beans, trimmed<br \/>\nDIRECTIONS<br \/>\nPreheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).<br \/>\nIn a medium bowl, combine the balsamic vinegar, honey, a tablespoon of olive oil, garlic, thyme, rosemary, chili flakes, salt and pepper. Stir well to mix.<br \/>\nPlace the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over the top. Seal and toss the chicken to evenly coat. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.<br \/>\nWhile the chicken marinates, place the potatoes and cherry tomatoes on a sheet pan. Drizzle with the remaining olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and stir to coat. Bake for 25 minutes.<br \/>\nRemove the sheet pan from the oven and toss the green beans with the potatoes and tomatoes.<br \/>\nRemove the marinated chicken breasts from the plastic bag, reserving the remaining marinade in the bag. Place the marinated chicken, evenly spaced, on top of the vegetables. Pour the marinade from the bag over the top of the chicken and vegetables.<br \/>\nReturn the sheet pan to the oven. Bake for 30 to \u00ad40 minutes, periodically basting the chicken breasts with the pan juices, until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit (74 degrees Celsius).<br \/>\nAllow the chicken to rest for 5 to \u00ad10 minutes.
