{"id":304,"date":"2014-09-28T19:45:54","date_gmt":"2014-09-29T02:45:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hhhh.org\/perseant\/foodlog\/?p=304"},"modified":"2014-09-28T19:45:54","modified_gmt":"2014-09-29T02:45:54","slug":"eplepai-a-norwegian-apple-cake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hhhh.org\/perseant\/foodlog\/?p=304","title":{"rendered":"EPLEPAI, A NORWEGIAN APPLE CAKE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A nice new <a href=\"http:\/\/rosas-yummy-yums.blogspot.com\/2011\/11\/eplepai-norwegian-apple-cake-gateau.html\">apple cake<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<br \/>\n<\/strong>1 Egg (63g)<\/p>\n<div>2 Tbs Milk<\/div>\n<div>3\/4 Cup (158g) Castor sugar<\/div>\n<div>1 Tsp Pure vanilla extract<\/div>\n<div>1 Tsp Baking powder<br \/>\n1\/3 Tsp Fine sea salt<\/div>\n<div>1 Tsp Ground cinnamon<\/div>\n<div>1\/3 Tsp Ground cardamom<\/div>\n<div>1 Cup + 2 Tbs (158g) All-purpose flour<\/div>\n<div>1\/2 Chopped almonds\/or almond sticks (50g), toasted<\/div>\n<div>3 Medium-sized tart apples<\/div>\n<div>Directions:<\/div>\n<div>1. Preheat the oven to 180\u00b0 C (350\u00b0 F), line a 18cm (7-inch) springform cake pan with baking paper and then butter it.<\/div>\n<div>2. Peal, core, and dice the apples.<\/div>\n<div>3. Stir all the ingredients together (the mixture will be similar to that of muffins).<\/p>\n<div>4. Spread into the pan.<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>5. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until browned and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.<\/div>\n<p>6. After 1 minutes, run delicately a knife along the side of cake to loosen, then remove from the side of springform pan.<br \/>\n7. Place a cooling rack upside down over the cake. Turn rack and cake over. Remove the bottom as well as the baking paper of the springform pan. Place back on the rack.<br \/>\n8.
