Most of what I do is making parts for prototypes \u2013 I haven\u2019t been making toys.<\/p>\n<p>My nephew is in town and I wanted to show him what you could do with a 3D printer. He\u2019s 8 \u2013 and awesome \u2013 so we made some accessories for a Nerf gun under his direction. Once we were done with that though, we found this guys design for a mini-fig walker. (Design here http:\/\/www.thingiverse.com\/thing:171087). <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hhhh.org\/joeboy\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/WP_20150313_012.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hhhh.org\/joeboy\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/WP_20150313_012.jpg\" alt=\"WP_20150313_012\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1632\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1412\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The designer painted his, which looks better, but I don\u2019t really want to give kids painted parts to play with. They tend to end up in their mouths.
