The Answer: Tile a square with five rectangles


There are two parts to this problem, first we figure out a tiling for 5 rectangles to cover a square.

The second part of the problem is to label the edges of the rectangles, and then since they are covering a square, look for combinations for the sides to be equal.

Since a square is rotationally symmetric, remember that once we find one answer we can rotate it by 90 degrees three additional times to come up with more answers.
