My name is Wim. I live in Seattle and spend a lot of time mucking about with technology. I'm too lazy to put up an elaborate page here, but you can mail me at wiml@hhhh.org if you really want to.

Software

Projects and abandonware. The distinction isn't always sharp.

• A small serial bootloader for the Atmel ATmega8, with a Python host driver. Fits in the smallest boot block.
• Playing around with image resizing via seam carving:
  • a description of what it is and a .tar.gz file with some MacOS source code in it.
  • 1Sep2007: A DMG with the compiled application (also includes source code).
  • 27Oct2007: The source release now lets you save the resized image to disk. (The compiled release is a version behind, sorry.)
• Yaesu FTH-2008 configuration via Python
• Some changes to Scapy (now probably obsolete)
• py-libpcap, a set of Python bindings for libpcap
• messing with the Rio Receiver bookcase audio player
