From just about anywhere in the Seattle area:
- Get on I-405 Northbound, somewhere in the Bellevue area. If you're on the
West side of the lake, you may have to take 520 or I-90 over to 405. No
big deal.
- Go North till you find the NE 85th St exit. Take it.
- Make a left turn onto 85th St.
- Proceed West on 85th. It will go down a hill and make a very gentle
leftward bend, at which time it has magically become Central Way NE.
- Keep going. On the left you will pass by a mall, a park with softball
fields, and some more shops.
- You'll shortly come to an important looking intersection, at which you can
turn left or go straight. This is Lake St, and you'll know that it is
because if you look at the sidewalk on the North (right) side of the
street you'll see a bronze statue of a cow. Don't ask me what that's all
about.
- Now you get to find parking. If you could just leave your car in the
middle of the street, that would be great because you're almost at
Dynamite; it's on the west (right) side of the street, just a few yards
south of the intersection you're currently at (see the little star on
the map? good!). I've noted two parking areas on the map:
- If you want to try the west-most one, then go straight through the
intersection of Central Way and Lake St. Take the next left, and see
if you're lucky enough to find a spot back there.
- If you want to try the east-most one, then take a left onto Lake St,
then the immediately next left which will lead you to that parking
lot. Again, make an offering to the parking gods and see if they're
feeling benevolent.
- Otherwise, drive around till you find something.
